Dead Money Club is a small, independent, fast odds-and-scores page for people who like to question the crowd. Our motto: Fade the Public. No picks, no paid placement.
Data
- Scores and schedules: TheSportsDB free API, cached about 5 minutes. Free tier is not real-time and may lag or omit games.
- Market odds: Polymarket public Gamma API (read-only), cached about 60 seconds. A price of 0.30 means the market implies a ~30% chance. These are crowd prices, not guarantees or sportsbook lines.
- Fade the Public list: for each upcoming game, the side with the lowest implied win probability, shown if it is between 8% and 35%.
- Where to watch: a hand-kept map from league to its official broadcasters. We link only to official sources, never streams. Rights vary by region.
How we fade the public
Prediction-market crowds lean toward favorites and famous names. We treat heavy one-sided volume as a sign the underdog is priced cheaply. We never claim the underdog will win. We record what the price was and what happened, so you can judge the idea from results, not promises.

Dead Money of the Day
Among pre-game sports and esports markets, we pick the one where the favorite is priced 70–97% and 24h volume is high; the underdog side is "the fade". Pure data rule, not a prediction.
Scoreboard
Every 6 hours a free scheduled job saves each underdog priced 8–35% (first price seen is locked) and later checks the closed Polymarket result. Hit rate and flat 1-unit P/L are computed from that record. Early sample sizes are small.
